Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of FYP AI ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

The service
FYP AI provides AI-generated coaching, content ideas, and draft video feedback for short-form video creators, based on the information you provide (quiz answers, draft videos, and chat messages) and processed with the help of an AI model (Anthropic's Claude).

Subscriptions
Certain features require a paid subscription ("Pro"), billed and managed entirely through your Apple App Store account. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time from your device's Settings app under your Apple ID, or from the App Store subscriptions page. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable under Apple's policies. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its own policies. We do not process refunds directly.

No guarantee of results
FYP AI generates predictions, scores, and suggestions (for example, predicted view ranges, hook scores, or content ideas) using AI models and heuristics. These are estimates only, intended to help you think about your content, not to guarantee of how any video will actually perform on TikTok or any other platform. Social media performance depends on many factors outside the app's or our control, including platform algorithms, audience behavior, timing, and competition. Do not treat any prediction as a promise of views, followers, or income.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• Use the app to submit content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or that you don't have the rights to;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app's backend services;
• Use the app to generate content intended to deceive, defame, or harm others;
• Use any automated system to access the app in a manner that sends more requests than a human user could reasonably send.

We may suspend or terminate access for any device identifier or signed-in account that violates these Terms.

Your content
You retain ownership of the videos, quiz answers, and messages you submit. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to process that content (including sending it to Anthropic's Claude) solely to provide the app's features to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any decisions you make based on AI-generated predictions or suggestions.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
